Your hosts, Loius & Carla ShortWelcome to our Eureka Springs vacation cabin lodging rental! We are Louis and Carla Short, natives of Louisiana who followed our hearts to the stunning Ozark Mountains 16 years ago. Our move to Eureka Springs on Valentine's Day was a fitting tribute to the love we share—not only for each other, but also for nature and the breathtaking views this area offers.
Louis is a man of many talents, from woodworking and pottery to photography and playing the African drum. His creativity is reflected in every corner of our lives and work. Carla, a passionate nature lover, brings over 40 years of experience as a business manager and is also a published author. Together, we've been happily married for 40 years, and our shared love for hospitality and connection has been the cornerstone of our 16 years in the vacation rental business.
At the Oasis, our mission is simple: we want every guest to feel truly special. With 16 years of hosting experience, we've learned that one thing guests value most is being able to rely on their host when a need arises.
